The Craft Community Suite now features a dedicated Blog system. This allows administrators and authorized members to share long-form articles, weaving tips, and community news in a beautiful, magazine-style layout.

Step 1: Access the Blog Section
Log in to your WordPress Dashboard. In the left-hand sidebar menu, you will see a new menu item labeled “Blog Posts” (represented by a pin icon). Click on All Posts to see existing articles or Add New Post to start writing. https://weavelry.com/wp-admin/edit.php?post_type=ccs_blog

Step 2: Craft Your Article
Once inside the editor, follow these three simple steps:

Enter a Title: Make it catchy! (e.g., “5 Tips for Perfect Tension on a Rigid Heddle Loom”).

Write Your Content: Use the standard editor to add text, links, and formatting.

Set a Featured Image: In the right-hand panel at very bottom, click “Set featured image.” This image will appear at the top of your article and as the thumbnail in the blog grid.

Step 3: Publish and Display
Once you are happy with your article, click the Publish button.

Pro-Tips for a Great Post
High-Quality Images: Use clear, well-lit photos of your weaving projects. The system is designed to make high-resolution images look premium.

Excerpt: If you want to control the text that appears on the blog grid, fill out the “Excerpt” box in the post settings. If left blank, the system will automatically use the first 15 words of your post.

Engage: Encourage readers to leave a comment! The new blog layout includes a clean comment section at the bottom of every detail view
